The industry meeting summed up the work of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan for seven months

On August 31, a reporting meeting was held in the Central Building of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan, where the results of the work of the industry enterprises for seven months of the current year, held under the motto "The Fount of Mind of Magtymguly Fragi", were discussed.

During the meeting, the tasks set for the oil and gas complex of the country by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the digital meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan held on August 31 were discussed, where the results of the activities of all sectors of the economy were summed up, and specific ways of further progress in this direction were discussed.

Opening the reporting meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov especially emphasized that under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in order to improve the activities of the industry and its consistent development, the state is creating all conditions. The Vice-Chairman also informed the audience that in order to implement projects related to facilities important for the supply of Turkmen natural gas to the world market, the head of state signed a Resolution on the construction of the Shatlyk-1 gas compressor station of the State Concern «Turkmengas».

During the meeting, the Chairman of the State Concern «Turkmengas» Maksat Babayev, the Chairman of the State Concern «Turkmennebit» Guvanch Agajanov, the Chairman of the State Corporation «Turkmengeology» Gurbangeldy Garlyev, the General Director of TAPI Pipeline Company Muhammetmyrat Amanov, as well as the heads of associations, departments and enterprises of the complex, spoke, reported on the work done during the reporting period and announced the tasks for the near future. The speeches included information on the progress of the TAPI project, the production of oil, gas condensate and liquefied gas in the country, increasing the export potential of the industry and entering new markets, developing cooperation with large foreign oil and gas companies and investors, increasing the pace of work at the Galkynysh field, the need for timely preparatory work for the upcoming winter season, as well as other equally important areas.

During the meeting, Vice-Chairman Batyr Amanov emphasized the importance of consistently continuing work on the introduction of innovative technologies and taking comprehensive measures, in accordance with the instructions of the head of state, in order to increase the production capacity of the complex's enterprises, and outlining specific tasks facing the State Concerns «Turkmengas» and «Turkmennebit», the State Corporation «Turkmengeology», wished the fuel and energy sector employees success in their future activities. At the reporting meeting, the Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on Oil and Gas Issues, Ashyrguly Begliyev, noted that dynamic development is maintained in the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan, and voiced his proposals for further increasing the pace of development of the State Concerns «Turkmengas» and «Turkmennebit», the State Corporation «Turkmengeology».
